Cathay Pacific Introducing Dine on Demand in Late 2017
Cathay Pacific began testing its dine on demand concept for business class passengers on two of its routes last month. The trial service allowed business class passengers to order meals from a larger menu at any point during the flight, instead of just being served shortly after takeoff. It looks like the trial is going well, and Cathay expects to expand the service throughout its international fleet, assuming the trial keeps going well. You can checkout Cathay’s trainers talking about the new dine on demand service here:
The changes are expected to rollout across Cathay’s fleet beginning in late 2017. Overall this is welcome news from Cathay. Several airlines already have similar offerings available to business and first class passengers, and it’s always good to see another airline enhancing its products for its customers.
