Delta Launching Nonstop Flights from Boston to Las Vegas

Article By:

Traveling to Las Vegas is always a bit of a chore when you’re based in Boston. JetBlue is the only airline with direct flights to Sin City. I’ve historically flown United when I have ample time to spare or JetBlue when I’m time crunched. It’s fantastic to see that Delta is adding new nonstop service between the cities starting October 1, 2018! Here’s the flight schedule:

  • Boston (BOS) – Las Vegas (LAS) departing 8:15 AM arriving 11:10 AM
  • Las Vegas (LAS) – Boston (BOS) departing 11:15 AM arriving 7:20 PM

I particularly love the flight times. You’ll have the whole day ahead of you when you arrive in Las Vegas at 11:10 AM and the return flight thankfully departs in the morning as well. Most of the flights from Vegas to the East Coast depart very early in the morning or at night. So it’s good to see a reasonably timed 11:15 AM departure time.

The flight will be operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring 16 First Class, 36 Comfort+, and 108 Economy seats. This marks Delta’s 50th nonstop destination from Boston Logan International Airport. I’ve been shifting more of my domestic flying from United to Delta over the past year, in part due to United’s atrocious customer service and mistreatment of customers, and this should help with that. Welcome to Boston Delta 🙂
