Emirates adding Direct Flights to Newark, Reducing JFK Flights
Emirates is starting non-stop flights between Newark (EWR)- Dubai (DXB) on June 1, 2018. This will be in addition to its current Newark (EWR)-Athens (ATH)- Dubai(DXB) route. The new direct flight will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER featuring 306 Economy, 42 Business, and 8 First Class seats. Note that this aircraft does not have Emirates’ new First Class suites. The flight schedule is as follows:
- EK223 departs Dubai at 3:00 AM, arrives in Newark at 9:00 AM
- EK224 departs Newark at 11:50 AM, arrives in Dubai at 8:20 AM
Emirates is also cutting flights between New York (JFK)- Dubai (DXB) from four flights per day to three flights per day on March 25, 2018. Finally, the airline is adding two flights per week between Fort Lauderdale (FLL)- Dubai (DXB) and Orlando (MCO)- Dubai.
