Emirates Will Fly A380 with Onboard Shower on Houston Route
Emirates announced that it’s resuming flagship A380 service between Houston (IAH)-Dubai (DXB) beginning June 1, 2018. The three-class A380 is equipped with 14 First Class seats, 76 Business Class seats, and 426 Economy Class seats. The new Airbus is replacing a Boeing 777-300ER and will add 160 seats to the route.
While the A380 doesn’t have Emirates’ brand new over-the-top First Class suites, it does have its famous onboard shower and bar! Flight EK211 will depart Dubai at 9:35 AM and arrive in Houston at 4:50 PM. Flight EK212 will depart Houston at 8:00 PM and arrive in Dubai at 8:00 PM the next day.
This is welcome news from Emirates. The A380 has a lot more First and Business Class seats than the 777, which means more opportunities for award bookings. And the A380 has the shower whereas the 777 did not. As a reminder, here’s how to book Emirates award flights with miles & points.
