First Look: United’s New Polaris Lounge in Newark

Article By:

United currently operates Polaris lounges in Chicago (ORD) and San Francisco (SFO). These are premium spaces available to passengers traveling in international United Business/ First Class or Star Alliance Business/First Class. United is finally opening its much delayed Polaris lounge in Newark (EWR) on June 4, 2018.

The airline shared details and pictures of the new space at a media event this morning-and it looks pretty gorgeous. The lounge is a whopping 27,000 square feet and can sit 455 people at a time. There’s 15 types of seating available, 570 power outlets, and 450 USB ports.

Tired flyers can take advantage of 10 private daybeds featuring Saks Fifth Avenue bedding. They can also enjoy the 10 shower suites featuring rainfall showers if they need a pick me up.

Guests can dine at a buffet or a private dining area with table service. There’s 48 tables available with a menu of food items available.

I’m so happy this lounge is finally opening, it looks like so much fun!
