Hilton Business Card Launches with 100K Point Sign-Up Bonus

Article By:

American Express recently became the exclusive issuer of Hilton credit cards. The bank released details of its new personal Hilton card-the Aspire card– in November 2017. The Aspire card is packed with perks and points earning opportunities for consumers. The bank just revealed details on a new Hilton credit card for businesses!

Sign-Up Bonus

The card comes with a 100,000 Hilton Honors point sign-up bonus. Cardholders will earn 75,000 points after spending $3,000 in the first three months and an additional 25,000 points after making an additional $1,000 in purchases within the first six months.

Earning Points

The card earns 12X Hilton Honors points per $1 spent on Hilton resorts and hotels. It earns 6X Hilton Honors points per $1 spent on the following categories:

  • U.S. gas stations
  • Wireless phone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers
  • U.S. shipping purchases
  • U.S. restaurants
  • Flights booked directly with airlines or through AMEX Travel
  • Card rentals booked directly from “select” car rental companies

The card earns 3X Hilton Honors points per $1 on all other purchases.

Elite Status

Cardholders will receive complimentary Hilton Honors Gold Status, which comes with perks like 25% bonus Hilton points and space available room upgrades. Members who spend $40,000 in a calendar year earn Hilton Diamond Status through the end of the next calendar year.

Weekend Night Rewards

Travelers will earn a free weekend night reward after spending $15,000 in a calendar year and a second weekend night reward after spending a combined $60,000 in a calendar year.

Priority Pass

Receive 10 free Priority Pass lounge visits per year.

The card has a $95 annual fee and charges no foreign transaction fees.

This looks like a solid card for a $95 annual fee. The 100,000 point sign-up bonus is huge, it earns a healthy amount of points for spending, and it comes with Hilton Gold status. If you can spend $15,000 a year, the free night reward on its own more than makes up for the annual fee. I also love the ability to earn Diamond Status by spending $40,000.
