Hyatt Suffers Credit Card Breach at 41 Hotels
Hyatt’s Global President of Operations published a letter informing customers of a credit card breach at certain location between March 18, 2017-July 2, 2017. The breach took place at Hyatt hotels in 13 countries, including the United States. You can check here to see exactly which hotels were effected.
Hackers stole credit card information used for payment at the hotels. This includes cardholder names, card numbers, expiration date, and verification code. Only a small percentage of Hyatt hotels were effected by the breach. If you’ve paid for a Hyatt stay recently, check the above link to see if your hotel was targeted. If it was, it’s best to call your credit card company and order a replacement card.
