JetBlue Giving $1,000 Bonus to all 21,000 Crewmembers because of Tax Reform
President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law shortly before Christmas 2017. Since then, American and Southwest airlines have each promised to give employees a $1,000 bonus. The airlines are using their tax savings to invest in their fleets, their employees, and their shareholders. JetBlue just announced that it too will give a $1,000 bonus to all its 21,000 crewmembers as a result of tax reform.
JetBlue’s senior leadership team said “Crewmembers like you are the heart of JetBlue and the reason we have become one of the most awarded airlines (and brands) in the world. We’re delighted we’re able to offer this extra thank you for your incredible efforts.” The airline will distribute the bonus to every crewmember employed as of December 31, 2017 by the end of February.
