JetBlue Offering $99 Flights to Florida to Assist Irma Recovery
JetBlue is capping fares on direct flights to Florida at $99 through Monday September 18, 2017. The goal is to help hurricane Irma evacuees return to Florida, though the fares are open to the general public. These are applicable to airports in Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, and West Palm Beach. JetBlue has the same cap on fares to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina in addition to the Florida airports above. Flights with connections are capped at $159.
Airlines are starting to gradually resume service to Florida today after having to pull countless aircraft from Irma’s path. Airports haven’t returned to full operations yet, and you can still expect flight disruptions through the end of the week. JetBlue hopes to be fully operational in Florida by Friday.
