Norwegian Cruise Ship to Debut 1,000 Foot Race Track
Norwegian Cruise Line is one of the biggest cruise operators in the world. I recently took their seven-day cruise around the Hawaiian Islands back in June of 2017 and was pleasantly surprised by how polished and professional the experience was. Norwegian announced some pretty over the top upgrades to its newest cruise ship this weekend.
Norwegian’s 16th ship, dubbed Bliss, will feature a two-story electric racetrack! Cruisers will race head-to-head in the eco-friendly go-carts. While Norwegian offers a similar race track on one of its Chinese cruise ships, this will be a first for North America. The new racetrack will be 40% longer than the one featured on its Chinese vessel, clocking in at 1,000 feet.
In addition to the incredible race track, the Bliss will also offer laser tag and a water park (featuring two slides) on the top deck. The ship will have sailings in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Mexico and is set to debut in summer 2018. While I’m not a huge fan of cruises, I have to admit a racetrack and laser tag at sea sounds pretty exciting! Be sure to check-out the one-minute promo video below.
