Norwegian’s Low-Cost Flights from London to Argentina Start Today
After launching fifteen routes between the United States and Europe, Norwegian airlines is shifting its attention to the rest of the world. The Icelandic low-cost carrier announced plans to expand into Africa and the Middle East a few days ago. It’s also adding additional Premium seats to its aircraft to woo Business travelers. Norwegian’s newest long-haul flight, from London Gatwick to Buenos Aires, Argentina, launched today.
Norwegian will operate the route 4x times a week with its new Boeing 787 aircraft. Economy fares start at £259.90 one-way while Premium fares start at £699.90 one-way. Norwegian’s CEO Bjorn Kjos said the following:
“Today we have marked the start of our new expansion into South America by bringing a taste of Argentina to London Gatwick. I am delighted to bring our high quality long-haul flights to another continent as we launch the only direct flight from London Gatwick to Buenos Aires, giving leisure and business passengers affordable access to South America.”
