Pop-Up Restaurant at JFK Connects Strangers over Food
Have you ever wanted to share a meal with a complete stranger? JetBlue and Coca-Cola teamed up to make it happen! The companies opened a pop-up restaurant at New York (JFK) Terminal 5 for one day only to connect travelers. The restaurant had no menu, and instead served custom fusion meals based on the diners’ backgrounds. Here’s the video from JetBlue.
I love this idea and would make an effort to eat here if a restaurant like this was permanent. I can’t think of a better place to meet diverse people than an airport. Everyone around you is flying across the country or across the world and has a different story to tell. Someone should open an actual restaurant like this. Would you have a meal with a complete stranger?
