Ryanair Passenger Opens Emergency Exit and Hops on the Wing
A Ryanair passenger took matters into his own hands when it came time to get off the plane. Ryanair flight FR8164 left London an hour late on January 1, 2018 and sat on the tarmac at its destination in Malaga for 30 minutes before the passenger decided to get off. Here’s a video of the incident:
The passenger appears to have been suffering an asthma attack and needed air. When flight attendants did nothing to help, he grabbed his carry-on, opened the emergency exit, and walked onto the wing. Passengers and flight crew eventually convinced him to get back in the plane. He has been arrested and faces a fine for his actions. What a bizarre thing to do.
