Starwood Business Card Now Offering 35,000 Point Sign-Up Bonus

Article By:

The Starwood Preferred Guest Business credit card is offering an increased sign-up bonus of 35,000 SPG points after spending $7,000 in the first three months of account opening. This matches the highest bonus American Express has offered on this card. You must apply by March 28, 2018 to be eligible. The bonus drops back to 25,000 SPG points after that.

While 35,000 points may not sound like a lot, Starpoints are currently the most valuable reward currency available and are much harder to create than other currencies. You can use them to book luxury hotels all around the world, you can transfer them to Marriott at a 1:3 ratio, or you can transfer them to 36 airlines partners at a 1:1 ratio. Best of all, you earn an additional 5,000 miles for every 20,000 points you transfer to an airline partner.

The SPG Business card comes with some great perks. Cardholders have access to Sheraton Club lounges, they earn complimentary SPG Gold status and Marriott Gold status, they earn 2x Starpoints per $1 on Starwood and Marriott hotel spending, they earn two elite qualifying stays & five elite qualifying nights per year, and the $95 annual fee is waived the first year.

This is a great opportunity to earn 35,000 Starpoints if you can swing the $7,000 spend requirement. The card’s perks provide much more than $95 a year in value if you stay at Starwood or Marriott hotels when you travel.
