Wow Air Launching $99 Flights between Chicago and Iceland

Article By:

WoW Air is one of several budget airlines based in Europe that have been aggressively growing their route network to the US. Today, WoW Air announced its 10th US route: Chicago (ORD)-Reykjavik (KEF). The flights will operate four times a week starting July 13, 2017 and you can buy tickets starting today. The introductory price for these flights start at just $99 one way. Alternatively, you can purchase flights connecting through Iceland onto 23 European destinations for just $149 one way!

Keep in mind that WoW air is a budget airline, so you’ll have to pay extra for everything. Once you add up the price of all the extra services you may want to purchase (seat assignments, checked luggage, food etc), you might end up paying the same price as you would on a legacy airline. That being said, if all you want is a no frills flight to Europe, WoW Air is one of the cheapest ways to do it! This is great news for flyers in the Midwest and for Chicago, one of the busiest US airports!
